The grass the builder installed never took and we have an erosion problem.  The soil is terrible so things we have tried to plant have not thrived.  We would like to add plants that bloom in different seasons and would like to attract birds and butterflies. 

SOLUTION:Add a wall with drainage to correct erosion issue and backfill with quality topsoil.  Fill the area with a mix of annuals, perrinials, shrubs and trees that will give year around interest and provide food for birds and butterflies.
